Description:
Two wealthy sisters are the most eligible ladies in Padua’s marriage market, but there’s a problem for the waiting suitors. The eldest must marry first, and she’s an angry, unmanageable ‘shrew’. What kind of man would take her on … and what would he do once he’d got her? A darkly comic tale of rebellion and control.
Performed by ACT (Actors' Community Theatre) in the Cathedral grounds, in the Cathedral if wet. Thursday to Saturday at 7.15pm and Saturday matinee at 2.30pm.
